Working Out Blows

Yeah, I know, it's beneficial in the long run however starting back up after a long hiatus does suck. There's a group of muscles right now in my upper legs that I had no idea existed up until two days ago. It is however quite early in the regimne though, so I know the stiffness will wear off. I'm thinking that part of the problem is that I haven't been drinking any protein at all to help combat the stiffness. The last time I started working out I was chugging protein mix and it seemed to make a difference.
Anyway, I plan on tracking my progress here on this blog as a means of... well keeping tabs on how my weight loss is going. The program I've started is the Southbeach P90 bootcamp meant to be a kick start into the P90X program. I've got both series of DVDs so I can transition over fairly smoothly. Ultimately, my goal is to loose about 45-55 pounds, depending on what my body looks like when I get to the 140 point. I'm not really trying to shoot for a lean, mean, fat burning machine body, just something more toned and down to a healthy weight. If anything, I just am aiming to drop pant sizes. As a female, I still want to have some softer curves.
So this week I have officially started P90. For the next 90 days I'll be sticking to a rigorous eating and exercising routine. Balls. But hey I'm ready to get rid of this last bit of flab so I'll push through it. Besides the workout is only about 35 minutes. I'll post up current measurements to track the progress.

- I'm a chick that just likes to draw. I try hard to be a decent artist, but hey, no one's perfect. This blog is just a repository of various ideas, sketches, drawings, or work in progress images that I've done. Why read this silly description? Just look at the art! ;)
