If there is one thing that I can say about myself as a negative it is that when it comes to technical gadgets I become very impulsive and incapable of delineating the needs vs the wants. I've been keeping an eye the tablet market since the first incarnation appeared with Apple's iPad. Every time I'm in an electronic store, I find myself invariably gravitating over to the tablet section so I can fiddle around with a device, all the while feeling this painful ache to whip my wallet out and drop an exorbitant amount cash for it on the spot. Why I tempt and torture myself in such a manner is beyond me. I know that eventually I will be buying one, however I keep reminding myself that I need the extra funds first before committing to a purchase. Notwithstanding, I have also been keeping an eye on what companies have been producing competition wise.

At this rate, I think I will be springing for the next incarnation of the iPad. I say this almost with bile coming up in my mouth (which is odd considering I'm typing this) only due to my distaste for as a whole regarding Apple products. Yeah yeah, Apple devices rarely crash, are fairly user friendly albeit frustratingly so in their own way, but what has me sold is the fact that the content alone available for purchase goes above and beyond what any other store currently has to offer. My heart really sits in the Android camp due to the great flexibility with the UI and that I can customize the pages for widgets. It would also be of great ease setting things up due to my having a god awful amount of Google accounts too. I'm hoping that the iPad won't have too many syncing issues with Google because, if it does, then I'm hosed. Until I see some massive media expansion taking place within Google's market place, then I will have to cave to the fruit logo giant in order to supply my needs. Sad but a reality.

The real agony of all of this is the wait. The iPad 3 is soon to be released within the next few months, but when one had been bitten by that tablet bug, it feels as though I'm waiting for years. This device will be carried with me pretty much all the time so if I need to record any writing or perhaps want to paint, the means are there. It's killing me typing on a phone. While doable, the interface and auto-corrections are so terrible that it takes forever to construct a sentence without it looking as if a cat ran across a keyboard. And that's being generous.

At any rate, I keep counting down the days which serves only to prolong the agony. Tax time is around the corner so I'll have the funds to get the best if needed. It's just waiting... and waiting that's driving me bonkers. So come on Apple. Unveil the iPad 3 already so I can drool in anticipation of the release date.

I'm a chick that just likes to draw. I try hard to be a decent artist, but hey, no one's perfect. This blog is just a repository of various ideas, sketches, drawings, or work in progress images that I've done. Why read this silly description? Just look at the art! ;)
